How Academic Advising Works
Your advisor provides personalized support and guidance based on their ongoing relationship with you, detailed knowledge of your academic program and University requirements.
You’ll work with your advisor each semester to set goals, check in on your progress, and make a plan for the next semester. As you approach graduation, your advisor will help you make a plan to complete your degree.
If you have an Advising Hold, you’ll need to meet with your advisor before you can register for classes. This is an important step to make sure that you are taking the right classes at the right time to meet your goals!
