Georgia Southern UAS Operator License
All UAS operators and observers operating on behalf of 91漫画app, must obtain a Georgia Southern UAS Operator License. License holders must be employed by 91漫画app (ONLY available to Georgia Southern faculty, staff, and student employees. Student employees can not begin the licensing process without a licensed faculty adviser and a current state of Georgia driver鈥檚 license (or other documentation as approved by the Georgia Southern UAS Committee).
To obtain a license, you must complete the following steps (steps MUST be completed in order):

- Provide the Office of Research Integrity with a copy of your FAA Part 107 license.聽 You are
- Demonstrate Knowledge of Georgia Southern UAS Policies and Procedures and聽 Hand On Flight Checkout
- Contact the UAS Taskforce at聽drones@georgiasouthern.edu聽for further information.
Important: All聽Georgia Southern campuses are currently a No Fly Zone for all unmanned aircraft systems. 聽At this time, all UAS flights require presidential approval.聽 Armstrong campus is in Hunter Army Airfield鈥檚 Class D airspace which will require a waiver or airspace authorization from the FAA to operate in that airspace.
